
Daryl Murdock, founder and physical therapist
Daryl has a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. With 20 years of physical therapist experience, Daryl has extensive training as a rehabilitative specialist with experience in orthopaedics, vestibular disorders, balance screening/rehabilitation, office ergonomics, and custom wheelchair prescription. He is a certified LSVT BIG clinician who helps clients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and similar disorders. He directed an outpatient clinic for 5 years before becoming a contractor starting his own business. As a physical therapist, Daryl has worked in these settings: home health (San Diego & Imperial counties), in-patient rehabilitation (San Diego, CA), acute care hospital setting (Imperial Valley, CA), outpatient orthopaedic/industrial medicine clinics (Imperial Valley, CA), and within the school system at various school districts as a treating physical therapist and consultant. He’s been an APTA member since 1999!
Daryl loves spending time with his immediate and extended family. For recreation, Daryl enjoys backpacking, racquetball, tennis, and mountain biking. Daryl and his wife served as missionaries in Argentina for more 18 months each and are fluent in Spanish.
Grace Thomas, Office Manager
Grace had the privilege of working with Daryl at the start of Preferred Physical Rehab. She can give the information you need to know if we are the right fit for you. Through call, text, or email she will be happy to answer your questions and get you in contact with a therapist that can help you. Grace handles the behind the scenes tasks so that our therapists can stay focused on you and your rehabilitation.
Grace is currently furthering her education at Brigham Young University, majoring in Sociology. She loves getting to know people, hiking, swimming, and spending time with loved ones.
